Providers can freely be chosen.

LuxCal does not guarantee that the system is compatible with all providers in the world.

This means that the system should function with all providers that can send mails via the mail2sms function.

LuxCal can handle both the specifying of a userid+password, and the more sophisticated API-key method.

LuxCal has a certified SMS-provider : SureSMS : https://www.suresms.com/en/

The solution is tested to function with SureSMS.

SureSMS claims to have prices that matches providers all over the world. This way you only need one provider.

LuxCal calendar, is also tested to function with ClickSend : https://www.clicksend.com

ClickSend has an important function that allows ( matter of setup ) filtering of special characters, and ClickSend has a very good documentation and knowledge base.

Unless you use multi-calendars, you can only have one SMS-provider. One SMS-provider for one calendar.

SureSMS and ClickSend is the only providers known to function with the calendar, where you can send sms with the sender-ID of the eventowner ( can be text or a mobile number ).

*** IMPORTANT - We would like you to use the contact-form here on calendarforum , or use the contact form on www.luxsoft.eu to tell us about the provider you have chosen ( what is good - what is to take care of ), so we can extend the list of providers.

Especially we want to know if some providers has some smart functions - could be that a provider was able to transform the URL to a short-URL. This will be a function we will have in focus.

We intend to make a wider list, covering providers from different regions in the world.
